This beautiful, airy and sun-filled duplex with floor to ceiling windows and an outdoor patio sits on Brooklyn Bridge park with views of the Manhattan skyline. The reclaimed light pine floors mixed with natural walnut cabinetry, Calacatta marble and black metal finishes lent itself to a more casual, California vibe. We wanted to bring the outdoors in so plants were top on the list along with a mix of neutral colored furniture and a variety of textures. The antique glass mirror in the dining room gave the custom built-in cabinetry a chic sophistication while also opening up the apartment. We mixed organic and vintage finds with modern pieces and think the python wrapped dining room fixture from Apparatus is a showstopper.
