This was our second project with these clients and they spent years looking for the perfect home as their young family expanded and grew older. Our clients had great vision and were able to see past the previous owners’ squash court in this sprawling 3-floor apartment overlooking Park Avenue. This 2-year gut renovation aimed to create a comfortable, livable family home for 3 young boys while maintaining a chic aesthetic for frequent entertaining and dinner parties. The color palette was neutral and soft throughout, but we wanted the husband’s office/library and powder room to be dark and moody. We used light fixtures as an opportunity to create "wow" moments in each room. We had fun on the boys’ floor creating custom graffiti walls for each while highlighting their favorite colors.
